An individual file only shows part of a shipment's story. References, product descriptions and weights make more sense when the team can compare them with the same consignment details.

Bring the comparison closer

A useful preflight view makes it possible to move between extracted detail and its source file. The check gives the reviewer a place to start; the original document remains the source to inspect.

  • Compare reference numbers where they appear across files.
  • Notice when product or species wording differs.
  • Look at net weights across the invoice and packing list.
  • Check applicable fields against the rules in force for that shipment.

Treat differences as review prompts

A difference can have a reasonable explanation, and a matching value does not prove that every requirement is met. Automated checks are most useful when they direct attention to a detail a person can verify.
