YOUR FIRST SHIPMENT

From signing in to checking the paperwork.

Follow these six steps to use IUUReady. You do not need to know every import term before starting; the glossary explains the words as you meet them.

Have these ready

A shipment description, the supplier’s original files and enough context to identify which shipment they belong to. Use files your organization is authorised to handle. Confirm applicable official requirements with your importer, broker or the relevant authority.

01

Apply for a pilot or choose a plan

Apply with your company details and current document workflow. Pilot work begins after approval and invitation; an active subscription also enables work.

Why this step matters: A new account alone does not grant processing access. Confirm the pilot dates and allowance in the application.

02

Open your organization workspace

Sign in, then select or create the organization where your team will work.

Why this step matters: The workspace keeps your team's consignments, private source documents and review activity together.

03

Start a consignment with the originals

Choose New consignment and add the supplier's invoice, packing list and applicable catch documents. You can also enter the shipment details manually.

Why this step matters: Use readable PDF, JPEG, PNG or WebP files up to 20 MB each. The record brings one shipment's documents and context together.

04

Confirm document and shipment details

In Documents, compare captured values with the original and confirm or correct uncertain information. In Shipment, check processing, storage and movement facts.

Why this step matters: The applicable checks use confirmed context and document evidence. Leave uncertain facts visible instead of guessing.

05

Resolve the findings

Open Findings, follow the source evidence and take the available review action. Ask the supplier to explain an unexplained difference or provide a corrected file, then recheck.

Why this step matters: Confirmation needed and Action needed describe different kinds of work. Replacements preserve earlier versions and their evidence in History.

06

Share the review and complete the official step

Review the report, export or share it with the person responsible for the next step, and confirm their access to private originals.

Why this step matters: Preflight complete means no unresolved findings remain under the currently applied checks. The importer or agent completes official submissions and remains responsible for the originals and requirements.

READING THE RESULT

A result tells you what to check next.

The status describes the workspace review. It is separate from a decision by Port Health, customs or any other authority.

Draft

The consignment is being prepared.

Add documents, then review the details and findings identified from them.

Reading documents

IUUReady is reading one or more documents in this consignment.

Results update as each document finishes. Retry or correct unread documents in Documents.

Confirmation needed

A captured value, document type or consignment detail needs confirmation.

Open the source document and confirm or correct the captured information.

Action needed

One or more findings need action before the preflight review can be completed.

Open Findings to review missing evidence or differences. Retry or correct reading failures in Documents.

Preflight complete

No unresolved findings remain under the currently applied IUUReady checks.

Inspect the originals and applicable requirements before handoff. The importer or agent completes the official submission.
